Returns and Exchanges

Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Required

All returns and exchanges require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Call 1-888-599-2560 to obtain one. The RMA number must be displayed prominently on the outside of the shipping box. If the RMA number is not on the outside of the shipping box, the box will be refused.

Satisfaction

Wig Savvy / Hat Savvy wants you to be completely satisfied with your order. Examine your items for color, quality and style and then try them on. Make sure they suit you. If they don't, please return any or all of the items for a refund, credit or exchange. However, please remember, the items must be returned in new condition. Shipping is not refundable.

Processing Fees

All returns, credits and exchanges will be charged a Processing Fee of $20.00 or 20% of the original cost of the items (which ever is greater). For example, you purchased 3 items for a total of $250.00 and returned two that total $185.00. A Processing Fee of $37.00 (20% of $185.00) will be charged. There will be an additional charge of $10.00 if a wig box is marred, damaged or used as a shipping box. Processing Fees are subject to change without notice.

Conditions for Return or Exchange

Wig Savvy / Hat Savvy expects that you will examine your new items for color, style and quality. We also expect that you will try the items on for fit. However, until you decide to keep the items you must not modify the items in any way. They should remain in an unused new condition. You should remove your makeup and perfume before trying any item on. If you smoke, the item may acquire the smell of smoke. Do not remove any tags or labels. Soiled or damaged items cannot be returned. Items that have acquired any odors such as perfume or smoke cannot be returned. Do not comb, style, spray, wash or modify, in any way, a wig or hair piece until you decide to keep it. Do not tape, mar or use a wig box as a shipping box. Note: Some items (e.g. liquids and brushes) are NON-RETURNABLE.

Trying On A Wig Or Hair Piece

Our wigs will fit the average size head, 21 1/2" to 23" when measured around the hair line. All our wigs have some type of adjustment in the wig cap that will allow you tighten or loosen the wig cap.

Remove the wig or hair piece from its container.
Gently remove the netting from the wig.
Gently shake the wig once or twice to get it more into its normal shape. Do not comb, style, spray or modify it in anyway until you decide to keep it!
Try it on. Adjust the cap tabs as necessary.

If you decide not to keep the item, carefully return it to its container. Place the netting that came with the wig into the container.
Do not use the wig box for a shipping box. You will be charged an additional $10.00 to replace the box.

Procedures for Return, Credit or Exchange

All returns, credits or exchanges will be charged a Processing Fee of $20.00 or 20 % (which ever is greater).

If the items meet the conditions stated below, package them securely for shipping, along with instructions on what you want done. On the bottom right side of your Invoice/Receipt or Packing Slip is a return address label. Cut along the dotted lines and affix it to the outside of your package. Make sure to write the RMA number in the space provided. You may return the items using any of the mail services and options available to you (at your expense): USPS, UPS, FEDEX, Airborne, etc. The items must be received by Wig Savvy / Hat Savvy no later than 14 days from the shipping date on your Receipt or Packing Slip. Packages received after the 14 day limit will be returned to you at your expense. Whether you use the provided return address label or not, your name and address must be included somewhere on the package.

You may return an item within 14 days of its ship date if:

The item is in new condition (e.g. Can the item be sold as new?)
The item is not soiled (e.g. makeup or perfume)
The item has not acquired an odor (e.g. smoke)
The item is not damaged
All tags and labels have remained attached with their original fasteners
The item has not been modified in any way (e.g. combing, styling, spraying)
Wig boxes have not been marked, taped or modified in any way
All packaging and care instructions are returned

The item is not non-returnable (e.g. liquids or brushes)

Wig Savvy / Hat Savvy will not be responsible for incorrectly addressed or incorrectly/insecurely packaged items. Hat Savvy assumes no responsibility for damage to or loss of returned items prior to their receipt by Wig Savvy / Hat Savvy. Items returned to Wig Savvy / Hat Savvy that do not meet the above requirements will be returned to you at your expense. Wig Savvy / Hat Savvy will be the sole and final judge as to the condition of a returned item. If Wig Savvy / Hat Savvy cannot identify the sender of  a returned package, the returned items will be held for sixty days and then disposed of.
